Vision Pipeline updates! Making it better and better and better

I love new stuff.  New is exciting.  In fact, I gotta be honest. Sometimes I get dissatisfied with something as soon as I get it. A few exceptions: my motorcycle, Pinkberry, and Carolina.

That’s why Vision is always changing.  We are constantly talking about the next big thing.  Don’t get me wrong.  Vision Pipeline Assistant ROCKS as it is.  But we want to dominate the market with a tool that’s so helpful that you can’t put it down.

So, this weekend while you were fast asleep, the elf geeks were stuffing Vision with a bunch of new updates and fixes. No major features were added in this update but there were some fixes based on user feedback.  So thanks!

    Here’s a partial list:

    • Better action icons (Bump, Edit, and others) – I hope you like them
    • Updated main navigation – Note the new + button for adding contacts
    • Fixed window scrollbars – I know this was majorly annoying
    • Some layout issues in the Contact Profile – Subtle, but useful
    • A bunch of little bugs behind the scenes – Helps with stability and performance

We tell you?  Because it’s exciting!  I want you to know that we are constantly pursuing excellence with this tool and will continue to listen to YOU to make this a great tool that helps you make more money, save time, and have more fun!

Log in to check out the new stuff.

I don’t know If I said it already but …Hey good stuff…keep up the good work! 🙂 I read a lot of blogs on a daily basis and for the most part, people lack substance but, I just wanted to make a quick comment to say I’m glad I found your blog. Thanks,)

      A definite great read..Jim Bean

The launch went great yesterday. People were scrambling to get into Vision to try out this new tool.  I hope people are liking it!

I’ve received some great feedback so far. And some people have made great recommendations for upgrades and new features.

As I mentioned in the launch video, software isn’t exciting. I don’t expect you to dance in your office after signing up for Vision. BUT I do expect some dancing when you close that new client because you remembered to follow up!  Seems simple but that’s the failure of most people.

My little brother is starting his sales career. He’s only 14 and doing better than many adults I know-he’s going to be a rock-star! He told me about his method for tracking his leads, “I put them in several notebooks and Post-Its.”  Nice dude. Recipe for disaster.  He knows it’s a bad move but didn’t have another choice, until now.

Vision is built for guys like him.  It’s simple, fast, and helps you do the most important things: organize your contacts, schedule followups, and get reminders. I think it does those three things pretty dang well!

BOOM BABY! Vision Pipeline Assistant Launches into the Public Betasphere

Today I speak words imagined for just over a year now…

Vision Pipeline Assistant is available for the general public!

Okay, maybe the words themselves aren’t that exciting. Heck, this isn’t the moon landing. But the context of the words is thrilling!  And not just for me.  Here’s a video I made to announce it…

Sure my team and I have been working for over a year to design, develop, and test this new-generation of  CRM called “Simple”.  The Contact Relationship Management (CRM) industry is huge and growing.  But the majority of players focus on big business. The systems are robust, complicated and expensive. People like you and me–the independents–are left in the dust.

But we need tools like this. The goal is to help you build better relationships so you can make more money, have more free time, and have a lot of fun. Healthy relationships drive everything good in life. And building those relationships take time, focus, and energy. Three things that many of us are in short supply.

My continuing goal with Vision is to minimize data entry. I know that you won’t use any system that is painful or time-consuming. I can’t promise you that it’s magic…yet. You WILL have to put in a little effort. But Vision also helps you remember things like calling back that prospect you met a few weeks ago, or following up on that networking contact, or just sending your momma a birthday card.

The system is free for now. It’s in “Beta” which means there are a few bugs.  It has been thoroughly tested though to make sure that your data is safe. So, even though something funny might happen on the screen, you won’t lose anything important.

This is process and I’m glad you are on the journey with me. Tools like this ONLY GET BETTER through feedback and collaboration. You have made a commitment to yourself to be better at followup and sales. You’ve made the commitment to be more organized. You know you need tools to help. Rather than keep looking for “the ultimate tool” help me make this into it.

You can comment here on the blog, on the soon to be here Idea Board, tweet me, become a Facebook fan, or shoot me an email with comments, feedback, and recommendations.

    Almost done!

So, it’s pushing 2 AM and I’m pounding energy drinks and am in desperate need of a bath.  But Caroline will finally get a reprieve. I’m on the last page. Should take another hour or so to polish it up. That means that Friday will be a date night with Carolina instead of another date with my computer!

I haven’t written in the blog because I’ve been writing code!  Got the bulk of the code from the dev team but was inspired to add a few things and clean up the interface based up private beta feedback.

It’s even better than previously imagined! Plus, the developers are already working on some hot new features.

Meanwhile you’ll get to check out the beta version and start organizing your life!  Whew…this is the kind of rambling that happens on little sleep. I better wrap this up and try to get a few minutes. Talk to you tomorrow!

    Private Beta Opening Next Week!

I’ve set up a small number of personal appointments to do one on one demos.  This is very exciting because so far no one outside the development team has even seen the application!  The first lucky few get insider access to try out Vision and give initial feedback.

The system is still a little buggy but mostly it’s just interface problems. The dev team is doing a great job of finalizing some fixes. Hopefully we can open public beta within the next couple weeks!

    Final code release!

Just got the final code drop from the development team. All features are built in now.  Some still need a little work but they are there!

We’ll be doing some testing and bug fixing for the next couple weeks. I’m hoping that we can open up Beta access middle of June. This is very exciting news for sales professionals who are frustrated with contact management.

If you want to be part of our Beta team (that means FREE access to the CRM) just go here: http://www.visionpipeline.com

Once we open Beta, you’ll get instructions on creating your account. Looking forward to your feedback!
